While I still accustom myself to this thing, I figured I'd get a bit more use of the blogging. I just got a perfect reason, too.
A very old friend of mine just called me. Marcus is his name. We used to work together out west, and I'm pretty glad he phoned. He tells me that other old friends of ours have come around, too. I guess I'll have to sit tight for now.
Arthur, I am glad I found you. Marcus has asked for our help. We were directed to find you and tell you that Marcus has been taken by nephiti. We must learn of semiphillins. Please help us.

ReplyDeleteI assure you I am not making this up. Marcus spoke of a "He" who wants to destroy the world. Marcus had mentioned that he thought "He" was a semiphillin. Marcus did not know much about semiphillin but he said that you were the one who taught him that word. He also said that you had the most knowledge about them. But we have not heard from Marcus in a while. We think he has been taken. Do you think Marcus is in danger?

ReplyDeleteThe Semiphillin are, for lack of a better word, demons. They come from another reality, or dimension, if you will, that overlaps our own.
If they've gotten Marcus then yes, Nephiti is definitely involved. Marcus was always the strongest tuner between us. Even if he didn't know it.
They'll be coming after me next... I can feel it.
Arthur we would like to help you if we can. Is there anything we can do? I do not know what we are up against, though.

ReplyDeleteTo explain what a tuner is, I'd need to explain electricity to you.
When it was discovered, we assumed it was a naturally occuring energy on our world. This is not true. Somehow, it was accidently pulled through the veil [the wall the separates us from the other realities that exist, one of which the Semiphillin are from] following this 'discovery' electricity changed our own reality, and made the veil less stable.
Electricity is the psychic energy that Semiphillin and other creatures from their reality naturally produce within the brain. Also known as Bioelectricity. Humans didn't have this until after we pulled this energy into our world.
Children from that point were born with the bioelectricity. Before then, it is unknown what actually allowed our brains to function and work with nerves.
Since electricity is born from naturally psychic beings, it is, in nature, a psychic energy. Some people can harness it to use a very low-level from of mental ability called "tuning." It is the ability to tune your own energies in with the electrical energy around you. Most of us can't do much beyond give the Semiphillin headaches.
If my thinking is correct, the people who wish to help Marcus, and me, were naturally drawn to it because of their own ability to tune. It may vary from person to person within your group. But, if you can all concentrate it, we may be able to scare off those Semiphillin who are tracking me right now.
I have a theory. It might not even work. Would you and your accomplices be willing to help?
I will help you Arthur. The rest of my associates are spread out all over the world so reaching them in time is difficult. I only just found you now and sent word to them a short time ago.

I believe that if you all try to tune, and channel that energy into harming the Semiphillin, your total power may be enough to scare them off. Not a permanent fix, but it'll buy me a few days.

I know there is an email address that one of them uses. They can tune expertly, and thus 1 email could destroy entire websites, crash banks, and even kill. If we can find one of the addresses, we can bombard it with your collective tuning and hold them off.
The only problem is this: I don't know any way to get one such address without risking giving away my position. I'm going to be no help in this part. For that I apologise.
Any clues or info on this email address Arthur, feel free to let us know. We will try to find it in time and do what you suggest.

I'm sorry, I don't know who that is. In Jewish mythology, Sheol is a sort of hell, but the spelling suggests that he has a deeper meaning to it.

He spoke of a test. and directed us to a website that started with numbers.
We had received a message earlier today from Sheoul that Marcus was taken. In the message were instructions to find you and tell you about Marcus and Nephiti and to learn of the Semiphillin.
